Scottish Rituals
Pay the Piper

Piper Ian Innes accepts his payment and toasts the groom
The piper has lead the bridal party into the ceremony. Your celebrant has carried out the "challenge and parental blessing", then the groom has escorted his betrothed to the stone.

N
ow, in the time honoured Highland tradition, the piper has to be paid.

T
he groom pours a wee dram of whiskey into a toddy glass, then conveys the glass to the piper who has marched down the isle!

Piper Ian Innes is seen here acknowledging the groom, then he drinks his payment. The guests just love this, simply wonderful.
