Scottish Rituals
The Arch of Swords

The piper is leading the now married couple out of their ceremony beneath the arch of swords - what a spectacle.
This is a spectacular ritual that lends itself to a formal bridal entry and exit irresepctive of where the ceremonyis located.

It requires a team of kilted fellows standing either side of the walkway to form an arch with their swords, beneath which the bride enters and the married couple exit.

The ritual can be adapted to outdoor settings as well.
