Instructions for Clients Remote from Port Stephens

How can you complete the required paper work with Philip? Easy, instructions are listed on this page.

Two items MUST be completed before the wedding:

The Notice of intended Marriage (NOIM)

The Form 14 Declaration.

Form 14 Declaration
The Form 14 Declaration is where you declare that all the information you have provided me in the NOIM is not knowingly false, and that there is no impediment to either of you marrying the other. It must be signed as close as possible to the date of marriage.

Note, if you don't sign the Form 14, neither I nor any one else will marry you.

If you are truly remote from Salamander Bay, it is perfectly acceptable for me to greet you when you arrive at the wedding area and have you sign the document then. As it is, I always greet the bride when she arrives.

The key thing to remember is that there is always a solution to a problem.

The Notice of Intended Marriage.... the NOIM
The mission critical document
The NOIM must be received by the celebrant NOT LESS than one calendar month , and not more than 18 months prior to the wedding.

The NOIM can be downloaded from this page by selecting "NOIM" in the column at right. It will open in your browser as a PDF file and you then print the document out.

Complete Page 3 and the top of Page 4, then take to a person described in the list of acceptable witnesses (Click here to view).

Do NOT sign the document UNTIL asked to do so by the witness. Then, forward the witnessed document to me at your earliest.

What I still need to See
I will still need to sight originals of your birth certificates and papers relating to previous marriages. Those documents include Certificate of Divorce stating the date the divorce became absolute. If your previous spouse died, I must sight the Death Certificate. UNTIL these documents are sighted by myself, I CAN NOT marry you!

Booking Fee
I require a deposit/booking fee of not less than $150, which is included in the total fee.. I hold an initial booking open for three weeks. If a deposit is not received by then, the date is available to any one who wants it and pays their deposit.

Completing things thus far, gives us all breathing space.
