The Celebrant's Challenge

The celebrant is required to use the couple's full names at least once during the cermony.
Celebrant Philip combines this requirement with Celtic ritual and at the entry of the ceremonial consecration circle, he challenges the couple to declare if they come befor ehim of their own free will and accord.
He then calls the couple's parents forward and asks them if their children come before him with their blessings. Of course they do!
Philip then invites everyone to take up their position outside the consecration circle for the actual ceremony - a wonderful and popular ceremony.
